Rebecca Shaw is not a licensed psychololgist and does not practice psychology nor diagnose or treat physical or mental conditions. Rebecca acts within the scope of her profession as a hypnotist. A professional hypnotist or hypnotherapist is generally not a psychologist or doctor, and a psychologist and doctor is generally not a hypnotist. Hypnosis is a distinct and separate modality. That is why so many hypnotically educated licensed professional regularly refer clients to Rebecca. If you have a mental health question, other health concern, or a condition in which you have questions, consult a physician or licensed mental health care professional before using hypnosis. a) The buyer hereby acknowledges that Rebecca Shaw uses hypnosis and guided imagery for self help purposes only. The buyer agrees that he/she has been informed of the nature of these self-help techniques and their usefulness. Also, it is understood that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis and personal results will vary and are ultimately achieved through the buyers own efforts and responsibility.

b) The buyer acknowledges that Rebecca Shaw and Charleston Hypnosis Center provide vocational and avocational self improvement programs for stress and effective habit control and at no times provides psychological counseling or treatment. Referrals are available for state licensed counselors or psychologists.

For clients wishing to use the services of Charleston Hypnosis Center as an adjunct to their current medical treatment:   a) The buyer acknowledges that the information and techniques presented in this program are designed for educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for informed medical advice or care. You should not use this information to diagnose or treat any health problems or illnesses without consulting your medical specialist or family doctor.

b) Further, the buyer acknowledges that she is to be under proper physician care and will obtain regular check ups during her program. The buyer also agrees to contact their healthcare professional for any changes in medications, exercise, healthcare or diet.

Playing Your Recordings
Do not use hypnosis or guided imagery recordings while driving, or engaged in any activity that requires you to concentrate, or be alert.
